South East Lancashire Community Rail Partnership, with the help of writer Dave Morgan, held a competition asking local people to produce a short poem about why they love Wigan!
10 winning poems are now displayed as part of the ‘Wonders of Wigan’ mural and in the waiting room on Platform 5/6
An anthology of all the entries has also been produced with bespoke illustrations by artist Alison Timmins
